One of Australia’s most respected outdoor education companies, Land’s Edge provides school holiday camps on Sydney Harbour every holiday period for boys and girls aged 8-12 years. The camps provide four days/ three nights of fun and adventure with a ‘healthy lifestyles’ theme.

Examples of camp activities include, sea rafting, snorkelling, Sydney Harbour defence tunnel exploration, tall ship sailing, adventure to Cockatoo Island, bush regeneration, swimming, fishing, Aboriginal culture sessions, bushwalking, kite making/flying, storytelling,star gazing, spotlighting, drama, yoga, self defence.

Children are accommodated in a newly refurbished foreshore dormitory-style building with stunning views across Sydney Harbour to the Heads.

Overseeing the management of these camps is Michele Naughton, who joined Land’s Edge after a long career working across the public, independent and Catholic school sector – most recently as Deputy Principal of Monte Sant’ Angelo College in North Sydney.

“I have a strong background working with young people in schools but I really look forward to school holidays periods relaxing on Sydney Harbour with the lucky ones who join us for the camps,” Michele says.

The four-day/three-night residential program was the perfect amount of time to gain independence and really grow from the experience.
