PREP CLUB
 

Funfitness and Croydon Tennis Centre Prep Club is a short term child minding service available to members and casual visitors. It is a place where your child/children can have fun in a safe, secure, and friendly environment while you enjoy using the centre's facilities. A comprehensive range of toys, games and videos ensure that time spent in the care of our dedicated Prep club staff is both stimulating and fun.

Our First Aid qualified and experienced staff have a genuine interest in your child/children's enjoyment and will attend to your child/children's needs.

We cater for children between the age of 0-5 years.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday - Friday:9.00am - 1:00pm


SPECIAL EVENTS

There may be times when a special event is scheduledat the Centre which may cause slight interruptions to the Prep club operation. Notices will be issued regarding temporary re-location or closure of the Prep Club.

DURATION OF STAY

The maximum duration of stay is two hours.

COST

$8.50 per child

  • This is to be paid in advance online or on arrival, if previously arranged.
  • Your receipt must be presented to Prep Club staff.
  • NB:  Please note that childminding is not a FREE service.

BOOKINGS

  • Bookings are essential and can be made upto one week in advance.
  • An enrolment form needs to be completed on your visit.
  • To book please contact the Centre during operating hours on 02 9747 4259.
  • After hours please leave a message on the Centre's voice mail.

PAYMENT

All bookings are to be paid in advance.  This can be done via our website or by calling the Centre during operating hours on 02 9747 4259.

PROGRAM ACTIVITY

Our caring and friendly staff will entertain your child/children for the duration of their stay.

We have a wide range of activities including:

  • Art & Craft
  • Reading
  • Toys & Games to play with
  • At special times of the year such as Easter & Christmas we have special theme days for the children.

DROPPING OFF & COLLECTING YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN

All parents/guardians are required to sign the registration book upon arrival, stating clearly the name of the parent/guardian.

Parents/guardians must remain within the Centre while your child/children are in Prep Club.

It is also required to sign the registration book once you have collected your child/children from the Prep club.

Parents/guardians who bring their child/children to the Prep Club must collect the child/children unless prior arrangement has been made with the Prep Club staff.

WHAT TO BRING

  • A small snack and drink.

    If you wish to provide a snack, we ask you to provide snacks such as fruit, sandwiches, juice or milk if possible, rather than chocolates, lollies, nuts, popcorn or ice cream due to safety reasons. The PREP Club is a NUT FREE ZONE.

  • A bag with their belongings eg. dummies, bottles etc.
  • Stroller or pram for child/children under 3 years of age.
  • Spare change of clothes should also be provided if required.
  • Please ensure that all bags and belongings are clearly labelled with your child/children's name. No valuables or personal items are to be left in the child/children's bag.

CANCELLATIONS

Prep Club requires notice of cancellation to be made 24 hours in advance. Any notification received after 8.30am on the day of your booking will result in a cancellation fee of $8.50.

Cancellation fees will be recorded and no bookings will be accepted until the fee is paid.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR CHILD IS SICK

Due to health regulations, children with infectious diseases and common colds cannot be admitted to the Prep Club. If your child/children has been sick in the last 24 hours, please do not bring them to the Prep Club. School age children that do not attend school because they are not well will not be allowed in the Prep Club. If you suspect your child/children are ill and you are not sure of the severity of the illness, please contact the Prep Club staff or check with your family doctor before coming in.

All medical conditions should be noted on the enrolment form and brought to the attention of the Prep Club staff.

CHANGING NAPPIES

All children must have a clean nappy on when they arrive at the Prep Club.

Parents must change nappies in the parent room provided. It is required to put dirty nappies into a plastic bag and throw into the nappy bin.

FEEDING BABIES & TODDLERS

All children should be fed before arriving at the Prep Club.

For those wishing to breastfeed, a room can be provided upon request.

NEW CHILDREN

Parents/guardians are encouraged to settle your child/children.

If your child/children is too upset and does not settle after all efforts to pacify him/her by Prep Club staff, you will be contacted and required to collect your child/children promptly.
